Premiere of Brazilian Landscapes No.16, work dedicated to the excellent American cellist Lars Hoefs, who performed the work with the outstanding musicians Karl Pasch and Nic Gerpe, in Riverside, California (Jan 20, 2017), during the Villa-Lobos Chamber Music Festival.
While I've been performing his music for years, last night in Riverside I had the honor to premiere a piece composed especially for me and the Villa-Lobos Chamber Music Festival by Liduino Pitombeira, his Brazilian Landscapes No. 16. Bravo to Nic Gerpe on piano and Karl Pasch on clarinet! I. Acalanto, II. Choro
